Advanced Bookings
The Advanced Bookings module allows the user to pre-book either groups
of equipment or individual items of fleet for any date in the future.
These bookings can be used to create priced quotations for customers and,
naturally, can be converted into live contracts when required.
The integrated diary facility is automatically updated by both contracts and advanced bookings, allowing the user to quickly determine availability of equipment for future hire.
Where repeat bookings are a common feature the system allows the user to retain bookings so that they can be repeatedly converted into separate individuals contracts.
Web
Integration
Hiremate eLAN allows the hire company to give selected customers
access to their own contracts via the web front-end. Customers, with appropriate
permission, can view their current contracts, calculate their work-in-progress
value, view equipment prices and place requests for on and off-hires.
The Hiremate eLAN front-end is available to any end-users customer via a standard web browser. Further web integration including EDI and e-Commerce facilities are available using one of the e-gateway packages that Hiremate eLAN links to.
Test Certificates
The Test Certificate module allows the user to create a number of test
definitions, each representing a different type of test e.g., lifting,
electrical, etc.
The module allows the user to record the details of each test such as KVA rating, flash test etc., marking the physical results and stating whether the unit passes or fails.
The results of the test are automatically available to the rest of Hiremate eLAN through the equipment history and can link into the scheduled maintenance events.
The module links to various automated test equipment e.g. Electrical PAT testers.
Workshop
The Workshop module allows the user to record all work performed on either
the users own assets or their customers assets. Results of the workshop
module automatically integrate with the rest of Hiremate eLAN e.g.
equipment history and scheduled maintenance.
Parts needed for workshop jobs can be dynamically drawn from the Hiremate eLAN stock system. Integration with the asset register, customer file and invoice engine is all part of the standard module.
A large number of standard reports are available with the data being accessible to external report writers such as Excel and Crystal.
Purchase
Orders
Purchase orders can be raised and processed in the system for the replenishment
of stock and for the purchase of capital items. The module provides extensive
inspection criteria checking and allows for part or full receipts of purchase
order lines.
A full suite of reports complement this module to list outstanding orders, automatic reorders etc. Integration with cross-hires and contracts allows direct purchasing for individual contracts without re-keying of information.
Operated
Plant
This module stores details of all operator/drivers allowing the user to
record names, addresses, next of kin, CIS card numbers, licence expiry
dates and skill levels.
Operator time sheets can be entered weekly or on an ad-hoc basis for standard time, overtime, bonus time etc., with links to update the hire contracts for re-charge to customer.
Up to 18 rates can be stored against each operated item of plant for labour charges, with the system allowing the flexibility to also charge for the hire of the asset if required, at the same time as charging for labour.
