Hiremate eLAN is a full 32-bit MDI Windows based Hire system with asset management, multi-depot stock control, contract hire and invoicing as standard. Additional modules provide further functionality for Operated Plant, Test Certificates, e-Commerce, Intranet/Extranet access, Workshop, Advanced Booking and P.O.P.
Hiremate eLAN allows the user to simultaneously perform multiple tasks such as contract creation, customer enquiry, stock level and price enquiries, all from the same workstation. Links to eMail and internet provide the user with access to related information at the press of a button.
Customers and remote users can be provided with extranet access to the Hiremate eLAN data for viewing existing contracts and equipment details and for requesting contract movements using a standard browser screen such as Internet Explorer. Further e-Commerce facilities can be provided by the addition of the e-Commerce module.
For larger hire operations the system can be used with Windows 2000 Terminal Services and Citrix to provide remote depots with access to real-time, on-line data.

Administration
The operation of the Hiremate eLAN software is governed by a comprehensive
Administration function. This feature allows the user to tailor the running
of the system by setting required options and defining look-up tables.
Custom programs may be added to the main menus, and even the colour schemes
may be individually set by the users.
All options and features may be protected by user definable security settings, allowing tailored menus to be created for different personnel.
A flexible document design and generation system is incorporated within Hiremate eLAN, allowing documents to be created and automatically produced at certain trigger points. Examples of the use of this facility would be on hire notes, delivery notes, order confirmations that could be either printed or faxed.
Accounts
Integration
Hiremate eLAN is accounts system independent and integrates to
3rd party Sales, Purchase and Nominal Ledgers, eliminating the need for
re-keying of data, so there is no need to change your existing accounts
system.
Hire and sales invoices, complete with analysis and VAT breakdowns, will update Sales Ledgers automatically. Updated account balances and On Stop indicators will be shown when contracts are created.
Suppliers may be viewed and Purchase Orders placed, either for Stock or Non Stock items. Multi Depot Issues and Requisitions may also be processed, updating levels and retrieving current pricing immediately.
Hiremate eLAN currently has full integration to leading systems such as Pegasus Opera, Sage and Access Accounts, but also has a design that allows other 3rd party accounting systems to be utilised with minimal effort.
Reporting
The reporting options within Hiremate eLAN can be used to monitor
costs, performance and efficiency of all aspects of the hire operation.
